Tounge Trick

Today Mandy's sister Ashlee tought Camden how to stick out his tongue. Then I decided to see how well he could control it. So I started to stick out my tounge then pull back in over and over. Camden saw me and copied me. It was so funny we caught it on camera.

Camden has arrived!!!

I'm a liitle late to report this but our son finally came! Camden Scott Record was born November 5th at 12:29 am weighing 8 lbs. 10 oz. and measuring 20 1/2 in. long. His head measured a good 36 cm. which we were told is a big head. He's been keeping us entertained with his facial expressions, his cooing noises and of course his talent with filling his diapers. We love him so much and we are putting up these videos to show how much we love him and what a character he is.

Hurry up and wait!

The countdown is on! 13 more days till the due date and everyone is getting impatient. We are trying things to jumpstart labor but nothing is working yet. Poor Mandy. She has gotten so uncomfortable that she needs Camden to come out. Water retention, headaches, carrying the extra weight and not sleeping comfortably is taking a toll on her. All the girls at work are coming up with ideas to start labor. We have just about everything ready for when the baby does come. Mandy heard that one of our co-workers friends was due the day after Mandy had her baby last wednesday. Now Mandy is hoping our boy comes soon. We'll see.

Updating

We've been so busy getting ready that it's hard to update anything. Whenever we have any free time we use it to rest. We've updated photos on myspace and facebook trying to get up to date on those. Last week I put together Camden's dresser to put his clothes in that we have so far along with blankets and diapers. The time is getting close now to birth and we still feel that we're behind on getting everything ready for him.

Making room

Our latest project has been trying to re-arrange our room so we can fit Camden and his things in with us. Mandy has come up with some good ideas which involved getting two new dressers and putting a lot of our stuff into storage. Today is storage run day and I'll be getting my exercise today with all the lifting. We also need to get some type of dresser for Camden's clothes. Yes, that's right. We alredy have clothes for him. They are just so cute. We have two outfits ready for his 3 month photos but it all depends on his eye color before we know which outfit to put him in. Sad, huh. Lately at night Mandy and I have been having a ball watching Camden move in her belly. We can see little jumps in her stomach like he's either punching the side of her, jumping or just twitching. Hopefully it's just for the lack of room in there and he's trying to stretch and not like his Uncles Don and Erland that will have a hard time sitting still. ;) Just kidding, Brothers. Love and miss ya.

Introducing!....

We have finally decided on a full name for our little boy. His name will be Camden Scott Record. He is keeping his mother up quite a bit at night now and even let's her know he's still there during the day. "Does this kid ever sleep?!" she asks. Last wednesday we went for her 22 week check-up and the nurse that was trying to get his hreartbeat was having a difficult time because he was moving around so much. "Wow!" she says. "He is a mover, isn't he?" Everything looks good so far and he is very healthy. I thought I'd put up a few clips from the ultrasound video of Camden from a month ago. I had to record them with my camera because the video is too long so ingore the background noise you may hear. With that here is a picture of Mandy with how much bigger Camden has gotten.

Here's Mandy at 22 weeks.

It's a Boy!

Today Mandy and I went for her checkup and ultrasound and we got news that we're having a boy. All the inside workings have developed great. They figure he weighs about 9 ounces and is roughly 7 to 8 inches long. His heartrate is around 146 bpm. The first 2 pictures are 3D photos taken and the rest are normal ultrasound photos. You can see the imbilical cord loop around his left side in the first photo. The Second photo shows his right side with his right elbow. So cute! We're so happy and looking forward to him joining our lives.
